Civil engineering Civil engineering is perhaps the longest-established engineering discipline; Civil engineers are involved in the design and construction of infrastructural projects. Bridges, roads, airports, dams, and sewage systems are some examples of their work.
Industrial engineering The career of an industrial engineer involves designing and running systems which maximize the effectiveness, and often the profits, of production companies. Maximizing productivity can include not only machinery, but also software systems and human resource management.
Electrical engineering Electrical engineers work with electrical equipment, designing developing and testing a broad range of equipment, depending on their job. Examples of this career include working with aircraft, navigation systems, electric motors, and automobiles.
